Lets be honest, I100% hate the gym. There is so much of who’s looking at who and who is going to hit on you when you walk off the treadmill.  I haven’t worked out in about 3 years so lets just say I didn’t feel like the MOST confident person in the world. This is probably the reason that I avoided working out out at all – “the scene.” So when I found Laura’s Online Training thing, I was stoked. She gave me workouts that I could do on my own – in my apartment and in the park. No body had to see me sucking as much as I did those first few times. Because I was really redicoulously embarrassed, so much so that i would only workout in my studio apartment  at first. But because I am completely left brained -  having  the workouts there on paper for me to follow along with was a great fit. And do you know what – one day when I felt good enough to do my workout in the park -   I met somebody. Laura- thank you so much, for real kiddo. When I came across your Gay Men’s Boot Camp online I at first was super excited but then pissed because I live in Ontario Canada, a bit of a drive. The reality is that I would join the camp in a heart beat – but alas the next best option was to train Online with you. I have worked with a few trainers in my life – my fat ass is perpetually about 20 lbs overweight (life long curse – thanks genetics.) Most of my trainers however would walk me from the leg press to the chest press to the lat pulldown machine. “Uh Hello?!!! I have used a gym before – I can sit on these machines by myself.”  Your way of training was so awesome b/c after about 5 mins in i was huffing and puffing like a fat kid in dodge ball (and I totally WAS that kid.)   I realized that I   a) would never get this kind of workout on my own (I’m also a lazy son of a bitch)  b) never even think of doing these kind of exercises in the order that you make me c) really like knowing that I have to report to you each day . Even without you being there – I had your damn face in my head and voice in my ears urging me to KEEEEEEP GOIIINNNGGG. Thanks chic, you’re my hero.   Donald G. – Ontario Canada

Here was my routine before I started training Online with you Laura: Drag myself to the gym, sit on the bike for about 4 minutes get board so I would manage to “work in” on the pec dec. Realizing that I was beyond sleepy  I would retire over to the Sleeping/Stretching corner (as i like to call it) and lay down. While reading my newspaper I would do 6 -7 crunches b/c the guy next to me was cute and I wanted to impress him. Pa-the-tic! I know. And I wonder why I wasn’t losing weight, why i was always self concouis  and never really liked to exercise. To think, i used to play college foot ball..where was that inner jock?? WOOOO HOOO – enter the online training program. I was like a man reborn. I now walked into that gym with a PLAN. People around me were wondering if I was possessed or something. Bing Bang Boom - going from one machine to the next, grunting, sweating, laughing because  I was on a mission. Your program gave me a sense of what and how to get the most out of my 45 minutes in that damn gym. I realized that prior to this – I had  just been sleep walking through and FULLY wasting my time. NOW bench press: 155, Curls: 25s, your psycho Hindu squats: 15.
