Boot Camp Program Description

Gay Men’s Boot Camp is a four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Fitness Trainers, Laura Miranda and Cal Lesley. Each day, camp will be one hour in length starting at 6:00am.

What if am out of shape and haven’t worked out in months?

You can rest assured that is a competition-free  zone. This program is made up of everyone from guys that haven’t seen a gym in 5 years, to those looking for change from the boring gym routine, to seasoned athletes. Each guy is worked to his personal potential.  Men of all ages and abilities are encouraged and welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by other’s motivation and willingness to change their life.

Where is BOOT CAMP held?

West Village, NYC – We are on the Christopher Street Pier (Pier 45) just off the west side highway on the Hudson River.

What types of exercises are included in the program?

Gay Men’s Boot Camp exercises include: More Sport specific exercises, more core conditioning, more fun obstacle courses, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, fitness boxing,circuit training, sport yoga, and more!

What types of registration options do you offer?

  • 1 MONTH PROGRAM: You can sign up for the month’s session with options of either 5 days- a-week (avg 5-12 Lbs lost), or 3 days-a-week (avg 1-4 Lbs lost.)

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet every day Monday through Friday for one hour during the four-week program. Some campers choose the  3 day option which is Monday, Wednesday, Friday. All participants will be expected to arrive on time. Camp starts at 6am and ends at 7am.

Are there showers and locker rooms available?

Since we are not affiliated with a gym facility, we do not offer locker rooms and showers. However there are many gyms close by that you may already be a member of. Most men either go home to shower or go straight to the gym to shower and get ready for work.

What do I need to bring to class?


A Water bottle, running shoes and 10 or 15 lb dumbbells. Now I know you are a manly-man and are super strong. But the types of exercises that we do will have your muscles screaming with 10lbs. Trust me.

Is there a place to leave my stuff while I am exercising?

Yes you will always be within eyesight of your things while working out on the Pier.

What can I expect to achieve from boot camp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The program that we have specifically formulated for men is designed to tighten  your chest and arms,  flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina like it’s nobodies business. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you’ll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you’ll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body.

Why should I participate?


You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being; ie you will feel better about yourself almost immediately!  In addition, you will meet great men who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!

What make Gay Men’s Boot Camp different from all of the other boot camps I see out there?

We are a non military-style boot camp and the gay men’s desire to look hot, make it happen fast, and hang out with like-minded guys in the process.

What is the cost (investment in myself)?


Registration is just $529. Pricing is for 5 Days a Week for a total of 4 Weeks. That’s just about $26 a session! Where else can you get premiere cutting -edge fitness instruction for such an incredible price? Personal trainers can typically charge $90 to $150 per hour for their services – this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost.

Other options:

You can also to come 3 days per week for a lesser price. Total cost is just $359.  WARNING: Even greater results occur when you enroll in the full 5-day-per-week program. The 3 days a week are typically Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  If this does not work with your schedule then you may choose other days, you will just have to let us know in advance.

We are now accepting pre-registration for the next camp.

You will get your pre-camp evaluation during the 1st week of class.  We will take measurements of your body both at the beginning and at end of the program in order to track how much your body changes throughout this incredible experience.
